The actual construction work was carried out by the current owner employing local builders. The owner is a retired UK builder and was therefore able to incorporate a much higher specification into the builde than would otherwise normally be acheived, particularly in respect of insulation values, this has resulted in a house which is cooler in the summer and much warmer in the winter, therefore use of the central heating is minimized. We currently use about 1000 litres of oil per year which includes water heating. |
